In his capacity as founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Financial American Corporation, John W. Pacheco led his enterprise and those affiliated with it in purchasing thousands of properties since the decades following the company’s establishment in 1978. The company specialized in the field of value added acquisitions, a strategy in which investors seek out struggling businesses and purchase them with the intention to “right the ship” by reorganizing and refinancing those businesses. As the company grew under John W. Pacheco guidance, so grew its reputation and respect among finance and real estate professionals nationwide.
John W. Pacheco’s notable success in the world of business leadership mirrors his equal success in education. He received his J.D. from the Franklin Pierce Law Center at the University of New Hampshire, where he served as President of his local Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity Chapter. He graduated second in his department with an M.A. in International Law, World Politics, and Monetary Policy from Trinity College. Before that, the University of Connecticut awarded Mr. Pacheco his B.S. in Business Administration.
In addition to his business and scholarly pursuits, John W. Pacheco supports organizations seeking to better the lives of everyday people. Such organizations include the International Foundation for Anticancer Drug Discovery, an institution founded to advocate for people with late-stage cancer and to offer resources for continuing treatment. Furthermore, Mr. Pacheco has been affiliated with the Whispering Hope Ranch Foundation, an Arizona based institution that offers a nurturing environment to children with special needs, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, founded in 1949 to find a cure for blood cancers.
